A SPECIAL Place for SPECIAL Educators!
A place for special education teachers to find ideas and activities that make
teaching and learning FUN for our students with disabilities.
There are so many great teacher websites dedicated to preschool
and kindergarden teachers, but very few for us who teach students
with significant disabilities. It is my hope that you will find lots of fun,
meaningful activities here that you can use with your students as they
strive to be the best they can be!
I have included many TIPS throughout the site on how to incorporate assistive
technology and communicaiton devices throughout the school day.
I teach students with severe and profound intellectual disabilities. I use all
of these activities found here with my students and it's my hope that you will find
